The treatment pages, educational guides, comparison tables and case notes describe general patterns across many people. Your mouth is individual. A real answer requires an in-person examination, appropriate imaging, and a diagnosis by a licensed dentist who has looked at you.

No doctor-patient relationship

Reading this site does not make you a patient of Dr. Bonifatto and does not create a doctor-patient relationship. That begins only after an in-person examination and a mutual agreement to proceed.

Before-and-after photographs

The photographs on this site are real patients of Dr. Bonifatto, published with their written authorization. They are not stock images, not models, not renderings, and not other dentists' work.

They are not retouched. Color, shape and edge detail are as photographed. Where lighting or angle differs between a before and an after, that is the ordinary variation of clinical photography taken months apart, not an attempt to flatter the result.

Every case shown is one person's outcome. It reflects that patient's starting anatomy, bite, gum health, habits, budget and healing. It is not a representative result, not an average, and not a prediction of what your case would look like. Results vary, sometimes considerably. No specific outcome is promised, guaranteed or implied by any photograph on this site.

Reviews quoted on this site were left publicly by patients and are reproduced as written, with no payment, discount, gift or other incentive given in exchange, and no editing to change their meaning. We do not withhold or suppress reviews because they are unfavourable.

Licensure and scope of practice

Dr. Peter Bonifatto, DMD is licensed to practice dentistry in the State of Nevada as a general dentist. He is not licensed as a specialist in any of the specialty areas recognized by the Nevada State Board of Dental Examiners, and does not hold himself out as one.

Cosmetic dentistry and smile design are not recognized dental specialties in Nevada or by the American Dental Association. They describe an area of focus within general dentistry, which is what the term means everywhere it appears on this site. The procedures described here are within the scope of general dental practice. Where a case needs a specialist, referral is the answer, and that is said plainly on the relevant pages.

Nothing here promises a result

No page on this site guarantees that a procedure will be painless, that a condition will be cured, that a restoration will last a stated number of years, or that you will be a candidate for anything described. Comfort, longevity and candidacy all depend on findings that only an examination can produce. Every dental procedure carries risk, and the risks specific to your case have to be explained to you in person, by name, before you consent to anything.

Awards and credentials

Awards and recognitions named on this site are described by what the awarding body actually gave them for, and are attributed to the organisation that granted them. They are third-party recognition. They are not a measure of clinical skill, not a guarantee of any outcome, and not an endorsement by the Nevada State Board of Dental Examiners or by any licensing authority. No governmental body evaluates or certifies dentists in the areas these awards cover.

Cost information

Fee ranges on this site describe the Las Vegas market in general terms so that you can walk into any consultation with a sense of the landscape. They are not a quote, not an estimate for your case, and not an offer. Your actual fee depends on clinical findings at examination, and you get it in writing from the practice before anything begins.

Content ages

Dental materials, techniques and evidence change. Pages here were accurate when written and are corrected when we learn otherwise, but a page you are reading may have been written some time ago. Nothing here is a systematic review, and it is not a substitute for the professional literature.
